Storytelling Newborn Session | Buckinghamshire
I know I’m biased and say this a lot, but my client’s are honestly the BEST! This family were so lovely and laid back. Little George was almost four weeks old, and his big sister Rosie had already transitioned into her new role perfectly. When I arrived we had a cup of tea (expertly stirred by Rosie, no less!), whilst little George had his feed. Rosie showed me some of the photos of her as a baby, we played with polly pockets, and I had a quick scout of the other rooms for natural light. This was all before I even got my camera out!
It’s so important to me that every one of my sessions tells a story. Whether that’s family, newborn, or even a branding session. There is always a story to be told. With this newborn session, I wanted to make sure that Rosie felt special, and that it wasn’t all about her new baby brother. We played, she showed me her bedroom, and she had a lot of one-on-one mummy and daddy moments.
This is all reflected in their images, and whilst it’s not a gallery full of images of little George, it tells his story. The story of his brand new family, his home, his big sister, and his mummy and daddy. So when he’s older and looks back on them, he won’t just see what he looked like as a newborn, he will be able to see what his journey into the world looked like. What his family looked like, his first home, and the happiness it was filled with. But most importantly, he will see just how loved he is.
Here are some sneak peeks from their beautiful session!
