2025 Personal Brand Photography Trends

We are five months into 2025, and having already worked on a variety of different personal branding sessions, I thought I would share the top trends of the year so far! These are the current must-have shots for your business, so be sure to save this post so you can refer back to it for your own shoot.
One – Storytelling Imagery
This one is my favourite, as it works so well with my style of photography, which is all about storytelling anyway! Storytelling is the moment on social media, and rightly so. It’s what draws people in, results in engagement, and drives people to book your services.
Two – Authentic Portraits
The days of staged headshots are long behind us. These days, it’s all about the authentic portraits, capturing you in the most natural way possible. Working in your studio, engaging with clients, or simply smiling over a cup of coffee.
Three – BTS Details
People want to peek behind the scenes and get an insight into your business now more than ever. This is great, as it is another opportunity to build trust, and engage with people on the day to day runnings of your business and services you offer. BTS details can really showcase the service or product you offer, in an authentic way.
