Considered before. Relaxed on the day.
Details matter to me.
Before we work together, I take the time to understand what we’re actually trying to communicate – not simply what photographs we need to take.
On the day itself, I’m calm, organised and unobtrusive. I’ll step in and direct when it makes the photograph better, and disappear into the background when the moment is better left alone.
It means you never need to worry about knowing what to do with your hands, manufacturing a candid laugh or performing for the camera.
The end result should look effortless. That doesn’t mean the thinking behind it was.
Away from the camera //
When I’m not shooting, you’ll most likely find me out in nature, heading somewhere for brunch, planning an adventure, or settling down with a film and an oat flat white.
I’m endlessly inspired by beautiful spaces, the outdoors, thoughtful design and businesses that care about the details – which probably explains a lot about the things I love photographing too!
